Independent Country Programme Evaluations of three UNDP Country Programmes in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan)
The objective of this assignment is to provide UNDP, national governments, and other key stakeholders with an independent assessment of the contributions of UNDP’s country programmes in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan toward achieving national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The evaluations aim to:
i) assess, in both qualitative and quantitative terms, the relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, and impact of UNDP’s programmes, including their alignment with national priorities and responsiveness to emerging needs;
ii) identify lessons learned and best practices, offering forward-looking recommendations to enhance the design and implementation of future UNDP Country Programme Documents.
