The overall objective of the intervention is to support DG NEAR to strengthen the linkages between the planning/programming, monitoring and evaluation of EU support (policy dialogue and financial assistance) in the context of the neighbourhood and enlargement policies.

• increasing women's empowerment and enjoyment of their rights;
• combating violence against women and promoting a culture of equality;

This assignment served a dual purpose. Firstly, it entailed an independent appraisal of the Local Adaptation to Climate Change (LACC) initiative, culminating in the finalization of the Project Document (PD). Secondly, a transition study was conducted to explore how the LACC project could facilitate cooperation between Finland and Nepal, extending beyond traditional development paradigms outlined in Finland's Country Programme. This study identified collaboration opportunities across various sectors, including natural resources management, WASH, climate solutions, green economy, and more. The objective was to diversify cooperation modalities and forge partnerships involving the public and private sectors, academia, and civil society.

The objective is to conduct third-party monitoring and evaluation of EU projects in Yemen.

The systematic and timely evaluation of its programs and activities is an established priority of the European Commission. Evaluations focus on assessing the achievements, quality and results of interventions in the context of a constantly evolving cooperation policy, with an increasing emphasis on results-based approaches and contribution to the implementation of the SDGs.

The mid-term review of the project “Renewable Energy for Rural Development 2+" (RERD2+) was commissioned by Enabel. The project was initiated in 2018 as a continuation of the “Renewable Energy for Development Project 1”. The Project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
The mid-term review served the purposes of accountability, learning, and steering. It addressed the standard evaluation criteria. The purpose of this mid-term review was to support the project towards a successful completion. The work has included the desk review of documents, field visits to the sites of implementation, as well as extensive interviews and triangulation of data, observations, and collected views to formulate findings.

The main objectives of this evaluation were to provide the relevant services of the European Union, the
interested stakeholders with:

• an overall independent assessment of the performance of the “Support to enhanced cooperation in sustainable transboundary water management in the Mekong Basin”, paying particular attention to its different levels of results measured against its expected objectives and the reasons underpinning such results;
• key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve future interventions (this will include the presentation of options for potential future follow-up intervention(s)).

The general objective of the project is to reduce gender-based violence in the Central African Republic.
The action is aligned with the national strategy to combat gender-based violence, child marriage and female genital mutilation in the Central African Republic (2019-2023).

The objective of the evaluations is to take stock of the achievements, quality and results of the programs, in the context of a constantly evolving cooperation strategy that is increasingly based on a results-oriented approach and contribution towards the implementation of the SDGs.

The global objective of this contract is to provide technical assistance to the EU Delegation in Paraguay in formulating a new Cooperation Programme aiming at improving the sustainable production and support to sustainable value chains.
