This evaluation concerned eight projects funded by the EU which have been mainly delivered through the CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (CoE) Initiative. The projects contribute to the general objective to address specific global and trans-regional threats to peace, international security and stability, through enhancing governance and cooperation on CBRN risk prevention, detection and mitigation.

This independant evaluation of WFP Country Strategic Plan (CSP) in Türkiye assessed the strategic positionning, added-value and results of WFP operations in the Country from 2018 to 2024.
The evaluation served the double purpose of accountability (performance and result assessment) and learning (why certain results occurred or not, lessons and evidence for decision-making). It is envisioned that the evaluation will inform the design of the new CSP for Türkiye, which is scheduled for Executive Board consideration in November 2025.

The overall objective of the contract is to boost a sustainable blue economy through improved donor coordination, enhanced evidence-based policy dialogue and more effective cooperation.

The "Learning2gether2" program continues Finland’s support to implementation of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) reform, focusing on the Upper Secondary School (USS) Academic reform (Grades 10-12) with a budget of up to 20 million EUROs over four years. The purpose of the appraisal was to assess the feasibility of the Programme as defined in the draft Programme Document (PD).

The overall objective to which the present action contributes is to substantially increase
visibility, awareness, understanding and perception of the EU in Nepal.
Specific objectives

• Improved EU Delegation’s engagement with key stakeholders and key target audiences across Nepal to support the EU policy agenda
• Meaningful improvements to policies and/or programmes in Nepal supported by the EU.

This project aims to support Kenya in reviewing and updating its National Energy Policy to align with emerging technologies and best practices, with a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and clean technologies. The updated policy helps Kenya achieve its ambitious climate and energy goals.

The USAID-funded Assistance for Families & Indigent Afghans to Thrive (AFIAT) project aims to conduct the AHS 2022/2023. The overall purpose of the project is to provide the data needed to assess the performance of Afghanistan's health care system by conducting a household level assessment of key health indicators with a focus on evolving perceptions and socio-cultural norms, with an emphasis on gender and youth, to guide implementation of high impact interventions for reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH), nutrition, and tuberculosis. The AHS 2022 will help to understand and monitor changes in household and community motivations, attitudes, habits (e.g., health expenditures), and other health information.

The global objective of this contract was to contribute to boosting EU-Argentina cooperation in line with the EU´s political priorities, namely the Green Deal and Digitalisation.

The overall objective of the evaluation was to provide assessment on how Grant contract “IPA 2018 – Direct Award to the Innovation Fund - Increased innovation capacity and technological readiness of SMEs” (hereinafter the Action) contributes to the development of market driven innovation and technological readiness of Serbian SMEs and thus to increasing of competitiveness of the Serbian economy.

The general objective of this evaluation is to provide an independent comprehensive analysis of the performance of the EU Health Programme (between 12/2013 and 07/2023) in the 8 beneficiary provinces in DRC, paying particular attention to the different levels of results in comparison with its expected results, and the reasons that explain possible gaps in the achievement of results. The main lessons, conclusions and recommendations that result from it will help to improve current and future interventions. This analysis will include the analysis of gender equality and women's empowerment, environment and climate change adaptation, the principle of leaving no one behind and the human rights-based approach.
