The overall objective underlying the proposed FWC is to support the Contracting Authority (INTPA A2) and its partners to coordinate, manage and deliver on the three identified TEI components.

The general purpose of this assignment was to provide the European Commission, EU Member States, and other stakeholders with an independent final evaluation of the EU Bekou Trust Fund. The Bekou Trust Fund had been established in July 2014 to support the Central African Republic in its transition from crisis to development through stabilisation, reconstruction, and resilience-building interventions. The final evaluation covered the period from the Fund's inception until 2024. This strategic evaluation had a dual thematic scope: on the one hand, all the sectors of intervention financed by the Fund, and, on the other hand, the Fund as a political and financial instrument.

It includes four evaluations covering forests and biodiversity, water resources management, energy and circular economy, and disaster risk reduction (including meteorology), with a synthesis report offering meta-level insights and identifying opportunities for Finnish private sector engagement. The evaluation focuses on the OECD DAC criteria of effectiveness and impact, delivering evidence-based recommendations to enhance future policy and operational strategies while addressing resource constraints and exploring geospatial data applications for improved monitoring and evaluation.

The global objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to contribute to enhanced youth engagement and youth inclusion in the programmes and policies of the European Union Delegation to Malawi.

This project aims to learn from EU programme implementation in support of refugees and host communities and obtain an assessment of results reported under programme T05-EUTFHOA-KE-69 ‘Enhancing self-reliance of refugees and host communities’, while improving in programme monitoring and evaluation frameworks with the aim of enhanced effectiveness and efficiency of future implementation.

The Sustainable Reintegration Support to Ethiopian Returnees from Europe and to Vulnerable Displaced Populations Affected by COVID-19 (SRSERE) project was designed to promote the sustainable reintegration of Ethiopian returnees from Europe and to contribute to the development of a national reintegration system for Ethiopia. It also sought to provide ARRA (now RRS) with the financial, human, and technical resources necessary to strengthen services and address the needs of vulnerable displaced populations in Ethiopia affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The evaluation will assess the evidence on the extent to which, and through which mechanisms, the EU intervention contributed to the achievement of the intended results, and shall identify the factors that enabled or constrained progress.
