The Global objective of the assignment was support in the identification and formulation of the possible EU interventions in the Waste water sector (focusing on Rural sanitation and Waste Water treatment) to be included in the 2015 Annual Action Plan, implementing the Single Support Framework for EU Support to Egypt 2014-15 which is currently being finalised.

The objectives these studies contributed to correspond to the commitments of the DRC government and its supporting development partners. It concerned "the fight against poverty by promoting inclusive and sustainable growth benefiting the population and preserving renewable natural resources" of the DRC.

The overall objective of the project was to support the Government of Goergia in its efforts to strengthen the waste management sector as foreseen in the relevant provisions of the Association Agreement signed on the 27 June 2014

Global objective:
To provide communication support on environment and climate change (including biodiversity, forests, green economy, disaster risk reduction, natural resources and all aspects falling under environment)
Specific objectives:

• communication advice upon request regarding communication and visibility (creation of simple

messages);

• technical assistance to the thematic Unit DEVCO C2 in the delivery of knowledge

management and communication

• drafting and editing high quality texts for various communication purposes, adapted to their

respective target audiences, such as the weekly "story of the week" with appropriate social media
posts, reports, presentations, use of videos and photos, brochures, briefings, leaflets, newsletters,
magazines and promotional and presentational material.

The overall objective was to reduce anthropogenic greenhouse gas GHG emissions to contribute to the global efforts to mitigate climate change in line with the scientific evidence.

The project aimed to support the cooperation between Kosovo and EU under the IPA II programme, in particular for reforms in preparation for EU approximation.
