The overall objective of this project was to strengthen the Honduran Court of Auditors to conduct audits at all levels of government in line with international standards while ensuring the systematic inclusion of civil society. An improved coordination and cooperation among all audit stakeholders (staff of Court of Auditors, municipal representatives and civil society) was expected to enhance transparent and accountable public financial management in Honduras.

The overall objective of the project of which this contract has been a part was as follows:

• To increase the awareness/knowledge to the general population on the EU support to this sector through various actions and programmes.
