The evaluation series was commissioned by the WFP School-based Programmes Unit in Rome and covered WFP emergency school feeding (ESF) programmes during 2015-2019. It encompassed four country-specific evaluations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lebanon, Niger and Syria, as well as a global synthesis report.
The findings were meant to strengthen the global evidence base on ESF and to inform future ESF policies and programmes.
All evaluations in this series used a mixed-method, theory-driven approach. The country-level evaluations were based on document review, interviews, focus groups, and large-scale field surveys (DRC, Lebanon).

The overall objective of this contract is to carry out a comprehensive security assessment of the SADC-HQ and its Sebele Satellite Office, identify and highlight gaps and provide recommendations as well as a detailed roadmap and indicative costs in order of priority on how the desired or proposed level of security will be attained.

The overall objective of the contract was to coordinate and communicate activities there were linked to the Hub in order to support the AU-EU Youth Cooperation Hub. Further, the contract ensured that the existing partnerships of the Young Experts linked to the Hub and its sustainability was reinforced.

The project included two assignments:

• The overall objective of the Libya Gender Country Profile was to provide an overall and comprehensive assessment of the gender equality situation in Libya, as well as an analysis of gender-based-violence against women at country level. It contributed to the integration of the EU rights-based approach and gender mainstreaming obligations under the GAP II and future GAP III in future and ongoing cooperation programmes.
• The overall objective of the gender-responsive assessment/evaluation of the on-going EU funded projects in Libya was to provide corrective recommendations and element for reflections for the programming period 2021-2022.

This independant evaluation of WFP Country Strategic Plan in Tajikistan assessed the strategic positionning, added-value and results of WFP operations in the Country from 2018 to 2021.
The evaluation served the double purpose of accountability (performance and result assessment) and learning (why certain results occurred or not, lessons and evidence for decision-making). It envisioned that the evaluation will inform the design of the new CSP for Tajikistan, which was scheduled for Executive Board consideration in November 2022.

The overall objective of the programme to which this contract will contribute is:
Deliver and make operational a new information system replacing inter alia the existing CRIS
system, addressing gaps, supporting the new DEVCO, NEAR, FPI and EC strategies as well as
engaging in a business transformation starting with the harmonisation/simplification of business processes.

The project "PASSMAR Outcome 2: National maritime legislative and regulatory frameworks are adopted and law enforcement is strengthened" was co-financed by the EU under the 11th European Development Fund. It aimed to enable ECCAS coastal states to prosecute cases of piracy and other maritime crimes in accordance with the Yaoundé Code of Conduct and to increase response and cooperation in Zones A and D.

The purpose of the Exploratory Mission was to collect factual information concerning this election process,
in line with the criteria contained in the Commission Communication on Electoral Assistance and Observation [COM(2000)191].

The main objective of this project was to assist the government of Bulgaria in fulfilling its obligations according to Article 12 of the Birds Directive.
The project included analyses and studies of species and habitats in the terrestrial part of the country and in coastal areas, in order to ensure up-to-date data and information on reporting under art. 12 of the birds
directive, including the development of various methodologies and pilot monitoring schemes,
their pilot implementation, evaluation of the results and a benefit-cost analysis.

In Madagascar, the Roadmap for EU involvement with civil society 2014-2017, which has been updated for the period 2018-2020, developed the common strategic framework for the EU and Member States to improve the impact, predictability and visibility of European actions towards civil society and to implement the three objectives of the 2012 statement.
In this context, the EUD wanted to achieve better coordination of EDF and budget line support in order to boost synergies and complementarity between actions and themes while improving their monitoring and assistance.
The general objective of the mission was to improve the efficiency of the Madagascar EUD's management and monitoring of current and future grants under the Civil Society Organisations (CSO) Thematic Programme and the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR).
