The “Sustainability Pathways for EU-Brazil Business Ties” project aims to strengthen the EU’s bilateral and multilateral engagement with Brazil on external impacts of EU Green Deal policies and regulatory frameworks with emphasis on the deforestation regulation.

This final evaluation focuses on the assessment of the performance of the PROMOVE-Comercio project implemented by UNIDO, with a view to taking stock of the results achieved, identifying key lessons learned, conclusions and recommendations, and informing decision-makers on possible future support to trade facilitation in Mozambique.

The objective of this consultancy is to assess and measure the quality of education provision in Somalia by collecting data from 700 schools and 200 public officials. The data collection covers various aspects, including student learning outcomes, school financing, and the role of community school committees. The data will be used to evaluate education policies and government capacity to provide and regulate education services at both national and federal levels.

UNICEF is supporting the Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare in strengthening
systems for Early Childhood Development (ECD) through the following broad activities: i. Capacity building of CBCC caregivers through training and supervision; ii. Provision of ECD learning and stimulation materials; iii. Provision of CBCC playing materials and equipment; iv. Minor rehabilitation of CBCC infrastructure; v. Counselling of parents on positive parenting and vi. Transition of children from CBCC to early primary school.
Particip will carry out assessment and mapping community-based childcare centres in consultation with UNICEF, Ministry of Gender, Community Development and Social Welfare and respective district social welfare offices). At the conclusion of the assignment, the institution is expected to submit a detailed assessment and mapping report.

The general purpose of this assignment is to provide the European Commission, EU Member States, and other stakeholders with an independent final evaluation of the Bêkou Trust Fund (Fonds UE Bêkou). The Bêkou Trust Fund was established in July 2014 to support the Central African Republic in its transition from crisis to development through stabilisation, reconstruction, and resilience-building interventions. The final evaluation covers the period from the Fund’s inception until 2024. This strategic evaluation has a dual thematic scope: on the one hand, all the sectors of intervention financed by the Fund, and, on the other hand, the Fund as a political and financial instrument.

This ex-post evaluation will analyse the effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, relevance and EU added
value of the investments made within the 2014-2020 programming period, under the European Territorial
Cooperation (ETC) programmes.

The general objective of the assignment covered by these terms of reference is to provide technical support and capacity building to the implementing partners in order to support the launch and effective and efficient implementation of this programme.
