Technical Assistance to SADC Secretariat on strengthening Change and Knowledge Management
The objective of the assignment was to strengthen change and knowledge management at the SADC Secretariat through assessment of opportunities and threats to change and development of tools to implement and monitor change and knowledge management.
The purpose of the Contract was to provide technical assistance to the SADC Secretariat aimed at strengthening change management and institutional capacity for identification, storage, management and preservation of knowledge in the implementation of the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) and Strategic Indicative Plan for the Organ (SIPO).
There were three result areas in which activities are implemented:
- A. Develop and Implement a SADC Secretariat Change Management Theory
- B. Develop and Implement SADC Knowledge Management Strategy (KMS) and System
- C. Train SADC Secretariat staff in specialized areas towards effective management
