The purpose of this technical assistance is to follow-up on the work undertaken in 2014 with the aim
to improve programming and monitoring of UfMS projects and initiatives through centralised
information in the Project Monitoring System and a commonly established business process. It is
expected to increase the capacity of the UfMS’ project managers and UfMS management to monitor
labelled projects and overview projects under development/ in the pipeline and enhance effective
monitoring of projects of particular importance for a complete overview of the state of play in real time and help take decisions or corrective measures if needed. A number of indicators were
identified and quantified such as:

• Level of project execution
• Advancement of the project according to the stages in the UfM Project Manual
• Level of funding reached
• Fundraisers approached
• Number of beneficiaries
