The general objective of the project is to fight against poverty of a part of the Congolese population by contributing to a restoration and sustainable preservation of transport infrastructure in order to ensure access to markets and to social and administrative services that are necessary for socio-economic recovery and reintegration of the country.
The specific project objective of the project aims at improving the navigability of a part of the river and sea waterways of the DRC and thus the efficiency of the DRC's multimodal transport system.
The particular objective of this service contract is to recruit an expert in administrative and financial fields to ensure management controlling within the Project Management Unit (PMU) of Support to the Navigability of River and Lake Waterways in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), which is the project structure responsible for the project.
