Project description

Objective of the Project:

  • To provide an independent perspective on project performance, ensuring trust and transparency across the four SSWSEEP components, including appraising implementing partners and measuring satisfaction from beneficiaries. 
  • To increase girls and women’s access to livelihood, entrepreneurial and GBV services and to strengthen the government’s capacity to provide these services.
Project Implementation Areas:
  • SSWSEEP is being implemented in all the ten (10) states and the two administrative areas as follows: Warrap, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Lakes, Northern Bahr El Ghazal, Upper Nile, Unity, Western Equatoria, Western Bahr El Ghazal and the two administrative areas of Ruweng and Pibor.
Project Components:
  • Community Empowerment Support to Women and Girls;
  • Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Facility;
  • Services for Survivors of GBV; and
  • Institutional Capacity Strengthening and Project Management.

Job description

  • Designing and implementing monitoring frameworks to track financial and livelihood outcomes in fragile and resource-constrained settings is critical.
  • Expected input: appx. 30%

Requirements

Minimum experience:

  • Master’s degree in international development, business administration, or related fields;
  • Minimum of six years of experience in financial inclusion programming, particularly in monitoring and assessing the
    impact of economic empowerment interventions;
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing monitoring frameworks to track financial and livelihood outcomes in fragile and resource-constrained settings is critical.
Preferred experience:
  • Previous experience on World Bank-funded projects;
  • Previous experience on projects in South Sudan;
  • Candidates based in South Sudan.
