For our head office in Freiburg, Germany, we are currently seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) in the area of public sector support and/or economic development.
Starting as soon as possible, ideally in November 2026, the position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2028.

As a Project Manager (PM), you will play a key role in the management of our international cooperation projects and our business development activities. This is a hands-on project management role offering both responsibility and room for further professional growth. You will manage international cooperation projects and project components, work closely with clients, partners and international teams, and contribute actively
to developing new business opportunities.

As our Project Manager, you will:
- Manage international cooperation projects and project components, including technical and contractual management, financial control and
- coordination of project teams
- Monitor and support international project teams, including technical, administrative and financial follow-up.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, implementation partners, experts and service providers, and maintain effective working relationships throughout project implementation
- Contribute actively to business development, including the identification of experts and partners and preparation of technical and financial proposals
- Coordinate operational project-management activities, including project launch, missions, contracting, invoicing, controlling and project closure
Conditions requises
Academic background:
- Master’s degree, ideally in Public administration, International development, Political sciences or Economics
Professional experience:
- At least three years of proven project management experience in international cooperation, acquired within an international cooperation agency and/or an internationally operating consultancy firm
- Additional work or study experience abroad would be a strong asset
Soft skills:
- Initiative, ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent self-organising skills
- Proven analytical, conceptual and writing skills
- Strong intercultural and communication skills
Languages:
- English: very good (minimum requirement C1)
- French: good (minimum requirement B2)
IT skills:
- Strong command of Word and Excel
