Identification and Formulation of Support to Recovery and Peace Building Assessment (RPBA) Implementation and Financing Arrangements
The
overall objective of the project was to support the prioritisation, operationalisation and implementation of the key findings as well as the recommendations of the Recovery and Peacebuilding Assessment (RPBA), which was carried out in the North East of Nigeria in the first half of 2016. Through this support the State governments' capacity to effectively address the identified needs in the North East of Nigeria was strengthened.
The
specific objective of the project was to work with government and other stakeholders to help move from the RPBA report to the development of
state specific Strategic Action and Implementations Plans. By extension the emerging outcome of the assignment helped:
- to further develop the RPBA proposals through more detailed planning and programming at Federal, State and LGA levels in close coordination with partners and stakeholders;
- to identify clear roles and responsibilities to ensure timely, efficient and effective implementation of the RPBA recommendations and the resultant action plans.
