The overall objective of the intervention was to provide support to the National Planning Commission in strengthening its monitoring and evaluation capacities and systems in order to achieve its national Monitoring and Evaluation mandate.
The purpose of this contract was the following:

• support the NPC in all its monitoring and evaluation activities including: systems development, NPC relationships with other Departments/Directorates, the development and monitoring of ASEPs, conducting evaluations and implementing the National M&E Framework;
• strengthen the capacity of the staff in the Directorate of Monitoring and Evaluation through the provision of on-the-job support and advisory services.
