Visibility and communication support for EU-funded trade related assistance in Viet Nam
The global objective of the project was to increase the visibility of the EU development work done in Viet Nam and to promote the EU`s positive image.
The specific objectives of this project were as follows:
- To better raise public awareness of the EU development assistance to Viet Nam in general.
- To demonstrate to the public at large the long-term value, impact, concrete positive results and tangible benefits of the EU's trade-related assistance programmes in Viet Nam.
- To increase visibility effectiveness of the EU trade-related assistance and to fully exploit the Multilateral Trade Policy Assistance Projects (MUTRAP) project's communication/visibility potential.
- To demonstrate to the public in general that, EU development cooperation, especially EU-MUTRAP, has positively contributed to the fact that Viet Nam is now a trade and economically highly integrated country, coming from a situation, before 2000, of isolation and high level of poverty.
- To demonstrate to the business and investment community in the EU that, thanks to the support of the EU, Viet Nam became a reliable investment and trade partner, where they can find international-standard compliant and favourable business environment as well as numerous business opportunities.
- To demonstrate to EU consumers that, thanks the support of EU-MUTRAP, imported products of Viet Nam (EU is the biggest exporting market for Viet Nam) are more and more in compliance with sanitary and technical regulations of the EU.
