The global ovbjective of the project is to strengthen coordination mechanisms and policy dialogue processes in Mozambique, in
particular with regards to the cooperation areas with the European Union. More specifically to support the effective functioning of Working Groups and related coordination platforms, contributing to strengthened policy coordination, improved alignment of development cooperation with national priorities, and the implementation of public administration reform, policy formulation and coordination processes.

Requirements

You bring:

  • At least 6 years of sectoral professional experience in one of topics listed above
  • Experience navigating development cooperation and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Interest in the big picture, including Team Europe Initiatives, the Global Gateway, and how to align international support with Mozambique’s National Development Strategy
  • Exceptional analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to turn complex technical discussions into clear briefing notes, synthesis papers, and policy reports
  • Strong understanding of the local context in Mozambique, public administration processes, and how to effectively engage with national stakeholders
  • Ideally, experience in development cooperation
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
