The overall objective of the project was to utilize the EU funds effectively and to improve the absorption capacity of Turkey by strengthening the capacity building in governmental institutions.The specific objective of this contract was to strengthen institutional, administrative and technical capacity of the Department of EU Investments (DoEUI) within the MoEU along with assisting and supporting for programming, tendering, contracting, implementation, financial management and quality assurance stages. During the project period, the Contractors provided technical assistance/support and assistance to the DoEUI staff to perform its Operating Structure responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
