The overall objective of the contract was to enhance the EU's image as a strong partner for Liberia. The specific objectives were 1) Enhancing visibility and local understanding of the EU-Liberia partnership by enabling youth to report on EU-funded initiatives under the 11th EDF and thematic budget lines and 2) Enhancing sector-level understanding and awareness of the advantages and benefits of the support given by the EU to Liberia for the sectors linked to this contract.

The Remittances and Payments Program (RPP) aimed to increase the efficiency of retail payments in selected countries, with a specific focus on international remittances. Funding for the implementation of the RPP in East Europe and Central Asia was provided by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO, Switzerland).

The purpose of the Election Expert Mission (EEM) is to collect and analyse factual information, assess and report on the electoral process against international commitments, standards and good practice for democratic elections in line with the criteria contained in the Commission Communication on Electoral Assistance and Observation [COM(2000)191]. The experts will also formulate recommendations to improve future electoral processes and assess, when relevant, the state of implementation of recommendations made by previous electoral missions.

The overall objective of this contract was to contribute to the peaceful development of the Republic of Yemen through EU development cooperation assistance.

The main objective of the assignment is to conduct an evaluation of the seven PI-funded Actions in the three broad thematic clusters of Responsible Business Conduct (RBC), Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). The evaluation will provide the relevant EU services and relevant stakeholders with an overall independent assessment of:

• The seven Actions to be evaluated, paying particular attention to their intermediate or final results measured against expected objectives; and the reasons underpinning such results; and
• Key lessons learned, conclusions and related recommendations in order to improve current and future Actions under the Multiannual financial framework (MFF) 2021-2026, as well as on thematic level and on approaches taken to influence the related policies effectively.

The objective of this assignment was to support GIZ and MENR in delivering the necessary legal advice and support for the implementation of the IED Concept in line with the provisions of Directive 2010/75/EU.

This action contributed to the effective implementation of international human rights instruments, principles and standards, primarily by means of exchange of best practices with partner countries.

The project was conceived to serve and preserve EU values and interests by means of complementary actions. It promoted policy cooperation with partner countries of strategic interest to the EU as well as enhanced the EU's visibility and coherence. This was done through the development of an analysis of the human rights situation in 13 countries, the organisation of seminars/roundtables and outreach activities. This ensured increased human rights awareness and access to human rights knowledge.

The evaluation covered the period of 2008–2020. The ultimate purpose of the evaluation was to support the achievement of goals for the transition process, i.e., transitioning from grant-based development cooperation to increased trade and other mutually beneficial forms of cooperation, in Vietnam and elsewhere in Finland’s partner countries

The general objective of this contract was to ensure the communication and visibility of the support programme to migration policies and the European Union policies underlying the objectives of this program.
