L'objectif général était de contribuer à ce que le projet d'appui à la gestion des frontières atteigne ses résultats escomptés et participe à la réalisation des objectifs qu'il poursuit.

L'objectif spécifique était de fournir aux parties prenantes sénégalaises et européennes une évaluation indépendante et motivée sur la pertinence et la performance du projet à mi-parcours.

The overall objective was to promote European higher education to students and academic staff in Asia and Central Asia, and to promote cooperation activities between European and third country higher education institutions.

The result achieved was the organisation of at least five higher education fairs in Central Asia and Asia in the period 2014 to 2016.

We provided all related and necessary support, ranging from the identification (design of the fairs: themes, venue, timing, participants, visibility/communication strategy, budget), implementation (logistic), follow-up (reference documents, quality monitoring, dissemination of results).

The project supported the ++environmental policy++ and ++law reform++ which the government of the Republic of Armenia initiated in recent years with the cooperation of the EU, other international donors such as UNDP and UNEP, and also bilateral projects financed by the German BMUB.

The overall goal of the assignment was to support the Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection (MNP) in the ++further development of climate-relevant environmental legislation (climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation)++, in particular the implementation of necessary steps with highest priority:

• The finalization of the draft law on ++environmental policy++ and;
• The adaptation of the sectoral++ environmental legislation++.

The assignment lead to the following results:

• The finalised draft++law on environmental policy++ was prepared.
• Based on review of relevant ++sectoral environmental legislation++ including legislation on: air, water, waste, EIA, (environmental) supervision, levies, and others, a series of draft amendments to relevant sectoral legislation necessary to bring relevant sectoral legislation in line with the ++Draft Law on Environmental Policy++ were developed. This output includes emission limit values (ELV) for air and waste water as well as EIA criteria by components.
• A Final draft legislation package for submission to law-making procedures was prepared following consultations with all stakeholders, revisions and modifications according to comments and proposals received in the consultation processes, including:
• the draft Law on ++Environmental Policy++,
• the draft amendments to ++sectoral environmental legislation++,
• explanatory memoranda, as required for the respective law-making procedures.
• Relevant target groups/ stakeholders were involved, informed and trained throughout the project through adequate information and consultations.
• A strategy and plan for follow-up activities to complement the ++environmental law reform++ were prepared.

General objective: To analyze the political, economic and institutional context in Honduras and the capacities of civil society organizations, private companies and other key players in the fight against corruption. This serves in order to establish the best mode and roadmap for implementing the components of stakeholders by identifying the key partners for the implementation process and preparing supporting documents to support the launch of the project.

Specific objectives (OE):

OE1: To analyse the political, economic and institutional context in Honduras in relation to corruption and to identify major factors and environmental influences, which need to be addressed to obtain long-term results in terms of political culture and the perception of corruption (theory of change).

SO2: To map and establish a typology of institutional civil society actors that are able to contribute to strengthening the democratic and inclusive institutional development of political parties.

OE3: Map and establish a typology of institutional civil society actors that are able to contribute to the strengthening of the understanding of democratic values, the importance of an ethical, inclusive and responsible political culture, with competence in the development of multi-media civic education programs - media aimed especially at the media and youth, future leaders and voters in Honduras

Thorough systematisation of the EU bilateral support provided to the Colombian Directorate for the Comprehensive Action against Antipersonnel Mines (DAICMA).The project highlighted the results achieved, lessons learned, best practices resulting from the EU support as well as identify remaining gaps.

The global objective of the assignment was to deliver a strategic approach for EU-Thailand cooperation that will contribute to Thailand's achievement of sustainable development (SDGs), leading to reduced inequality and higher income status and at the same time demonstrating the impact and added-value of the EU contributions.

Drawing lessons learned from EU relations with other upper middle income countries (such as Mexico, South Korea, Brazil), the specific objective of the study was to review and assess Thailand's current state of development and the applicable EU instruments/initiatives and prepare a strategic approach for EU-Thailand cooperation in order to contribute to the political/policy dialogue and facilitate Thailand's achievement of inclusive and sustainable development, in line with the country SDGs' commitments. The cross-cutting issues such as gender equality, good governance, and environmental sustainability will be taken into account in the approach that will be developed.

L’objectif général de l’intervention a été d’appuyer le Tchad dans la mise en œuvre d’une réponse

nationale aux défis posés par le changement climatique, et de contribuer ainsi à l’émergence d’une

économie résiliente au changement climatique et à faibles émissions de carbone.

L’objectif spécifique était:

• d’améliorer la gouvernance climatique, par l’intégration du changement climatique dans quelques politiques sectorielles clés et la réalisation de projets de terrain s’inscrivant dans les priorités du PANA et des priorités connexes.

Ces objectifs sont conformes aux objectifs de l’AMCC, et s’inscrivent plus particulièrement dans les

domaines prioritaires que sont l’intégration du changement climatique, l’adaptation et, pour le volet «

énergie renouvelables », l’amélioration de l’accès au marché du carbone.

L´objectif(s) généraux a été de:

Contribuer à la mise en œuvre de 4 projets-pilote de terrain en appuyant le Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Pêche (MEP) et la Délégation de l'Union Européenne (DUE) dans ce processus d’évaluation des demandes de subvention reçues dans le cadre de l’appel à propositions Référence : EuropeAid/137-512/ID/ACT/TD.

Les Objectifs particulies étaient:

• Les évaluations des étapes n°1 (notes succinctes de présentation) et n°2 (demandes complètes) sont validées et approuvées par les parties impliquées. Les documents de contractualisation (conditions particulières et annexes aux contrats) sont validés par les parties impliquées.

The mission assessed whether the CliFor program as it was proposed and executed to date was able to achieve the expected results in the Financing Agreement DCI- ALA/2013/330-728 and the various operational plans. The experts evaluated the relevance of the Financing Agreements and the effectiveness of the Contracts and subsidies, including technical and administrative agreements, the logical framework, the planning through the budgets and the coherence of the budget. Moreover, the mission reviewed the strategy and methodology developed by the program and gave an opinion on the management of the program, the actual achievement of the program and the impact that the achievements had. Another important topic of the analysis was to assess the relevance, suitability and sustainability of the the CliFor program.

The overall objective of the project of which this contract was a part was as follows: Support the implementation of the Institutional Development Program (IDP).

The particular objectives of this contract were to strengthen the control of the Commissioner of Institutional Development (CID) of the reform process and to support the Institutional Development Program.

The IDP aimed to:

• adapt the organization of the Administration to the political and institutional changes to correct its structural inconsistencies and increase efficiency;
• strengthen governance to improve quantitatively and qualitatively services to populations;
• put the concerns of users at the heart of the administrative action to give legitimacy to the state and strengthen the democratic process;
• ensure adequate control of development policies and improve coordination of development.

To achieve these goals, six (6) strategic areas were identified:

• reorganization of the central government;
• improving processes, methods and procedures of managing public affairs;
• strengthening decentralization;
• consolidation of decentralization;
• capacity building and strengthening of human resources;
• communication and customer relations.
